Just a quick update. First, the Everyday Goddess Conference was a fabulous way to spend a weekend. I met some awesome new friends (hi Jodie!) and my two teen roomies (Moon and Nicole) seemed to have a great time.
Second, I now have a shop at Etsy. It’s http://aine.etsy.com. Rakka was my inspiration … her shop is here. Now I can make stuff without having to worry about where to put it all!
Third, guess who Moon’s pulling for in this year’s American Idol? None other than Bucky Covington. Yep, my speed metal girl now appreciates (gasp) country.
This message is for Moon: I liked Bucky a lot; he’s just so gosh-darned sweet. Sadly, I knew he wouldn’t stay the course; the competition is too stiff. Did ya hear the audience go silent in shock when Mandisa was voted off? My picks for the low votes tonight (April 19) are Taylor or Kellie. At this stage of the game, you gotta be H.O.T. and neither of them lived up to it last night. My overall favourite to win AI has been Chris Daughtry. He’s been my pick since he got the gold ticket to Hollywood. He’s more consistently solid than Ace, who has eyes that make my knees wobble. :butterfly:
I think I may have jinxed Bucky when I posted that! Her new fave is Elliott. Kellie may deserve the low vote tonight, but she’s way too popular to go home (darn). Nothing against her, but she just isn’t in the same league as the others.
I agree with your take on Chris — I thought the same thing. But I do think Taylor has a chance to win it all, too. Ace is awfully cute, but sadly he won’t last much longer.
